Psychotherapy Sessions

Therapy sessions are generally 50 minutes long. Our first few sessions are to get to know each other, to discuss what brings you to therapy, and to see if we’re a good fit. It’s important that we establish a good rapport and that you feel comfortable discussing the concerns that brought you to treatment. A consistent connection is key while working on your treatment goals, particularly if the issues at hand are complex and long-standing. This means we’ll meet weekly until such a point where titrating down feels appropriate.

Each session is a co-venture inside. You are the lead explorer. The therapist is the curious, inquisitive, and compassionate co-explorer who is there to help map the terrain and document the discoveries. Together a plan is made and each step is taken at your pace. You have everything you need to get started.
